Too tired

A couple of days ago there was an approaching thunderstorm as I was about to go to bed.

Even though I was dead tired, I decided that it was time to set up my UPS, which has been sitting unused for most of the summer. I took it downstairs, plugged everything in, and turned it on. It started beeping and a little yellow light came on. WTF? I looked at it and tried out a couple of theories that came to mind.

After a minute, I exhausted my stock of ideas, so I went upstairs to grab the manual and figure out what this meant. Hmm... the main cause of a beep every five seconds and a yellow light is ``Unit not connected to AC power.''

I went back downstairs. Sure enough, I hadn't plugged it in. *sigh*. I plugged it in and went to bed. This is what happens when I try to do things when I'm too tired.
