Go-karting and laptops

I went go-karting yesterday and bought a laptop today.
Yesterday my fencing coach, Dale, organized a go-karting party.
We went to this go-karting place called "Kart2Kart" in Sterling
Heights (Michigan, USA). I'd never been go-karting before, but
it was a helluva lot of fun. It took me the first round to get
an idea of how tight I could take the corners and so on. Those
little things are so low to the ground that you can do crazy stuff
on them. It's too bad that it's so expensive—it cost me $36 for
a total of 16 minutes between the two rounds.
Today, I bought a laptop. It's a Compaq Armada M700, about 6 months
old. This is the first laptop I've owned. It seems really nice,
Linux supports all of its features, even the built-in modem and Ethernet ports.
I'm currently installing Debian on it.
