I've taken to hanging out in the campus coffee-house lately, in hopes of meeting people. It doesn't work, but it's still a pretty nice atmosphere, so I go anyway.
I thought for a moment about mentioning that I was a GNU developer. Then he went on, ``You remember that show with Gary Gnu? No gnus is good gnus!'' WTF? I decided not to say anything.
Anyway, Google cleared up WTF that is later. I'm now glad that I stayed quiet. The explanations from both sides would have been painful, I think.
